Christmas in Lisbon is about much more than the markets. It is a wonderful time to explore the city's historic neighbourhoods, admire its viewpoints, visit grand monuments, enjoy traditional Portuguese food, listen to fado and experience Lisbon's lively nightlife.
For Christmas 2026, the city's main festive attraction will once again be Wonderland Lisboa at Parque Eduardo VII, while the Rossio Christmas Market will bring Christmas stalls and entertainment to the heart of Baixa.

Wonderland Lisboa is Lisbon's biggest Christmas event. Every year, Parque Eduardo VII is transformed into a huge festive village overlooking the city, with Christmas stalls, food, entertainment and family attractions.
The Ferris wheel is particularly popular for its views over Parque Eduardo VII and central Lisbon. Wonderland is especially atmospheric after dark, when the park's Christmas lights and illuminated attractions create a festive evening scene.
